Narconon Arrowhead Plans
Anniversary Event
CANADIAN,
OK…Oklahoma’s largest residential drug and
alcohol rehabilitation facility is currently planning to hold
an anniversary event at the facility on September 21st,
celebrating the completion of one year of saving lives
through effective education and rehabilitation in the newly
renovated Arrowhead Lodge on Lake Eufaula. “We’ve
had around 400 graduates of our program since we moved into
our new facility,” says President of Narconon Arrowhead
Luke Catton, “with another 25,000 students, teachers,
youth group and community members having received a drug
prevention presentation throughout Oklahoma and surrounding
states.” The celebration will look into both the past
and the future of the Narconon® Program, which started
from inside the walls of Arizona State Prison by William
Benitez 36 years ago and now has spread to well over 100
programs in more than 30 countries across the planet.
According to Catton, “We have one of the first
graduates from the prison program in 1966 that is going to
attend, along with several other graduates from the
70’s to share some of our history.” Also expected
to be at the event are area leaders and local business owners
that have been positively affected by the presence of
Narconon Arrowhead. The celebration starts at 7:30 and is
open to anyone that wishes to attend.
